After it was announced last September, Koei Tecmo is back with the latest story trailer for Atelier Lydie and Suelle: the Alchemists and the Mysterious Paintings.
This game is the third series of Mysterious sub-series after Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Book, and Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and The Mysterious Journey.
The third series tells the story of a twin alchemist, Lydie Malen and Suelle Malen who helped their father who did not have a good experience in Alchemy to run his Atelier. Then while they are working, they found a painting in the basement and were mysteriously sucked into the painting. As they explore the painting world, they discover a lot of ingredients that can turn their Atelier into the best.
Gameplay that will appear is combat mechanics and crafting, Combination attacks from Firis, Sue, and Lydie. The thing that distinguishes this series with other Atelier, you can do Synthesize in battle through Battle Mix and Extra Mix and then see the result in Enhancing Agents.
You will travel, fight monsters, search some Alchemy building materials, and do some quests given by NPC. Here you will combine some of the materials you get and you can use them.
“A delightful new trailer highlighting the additions to battle and unique cast of characters, which will join players on their journey, was released today – alongside a fresh coat of new colorful assets, which introduces a collection of new characters: the mischievous young prince of Adalett, Mathias; the bright and energetic princess, Mireille; the mysterious child, Alt; the town’s caring nun, Grace; a girl who lives among the lava falls of “The Great Cascades of Anfel”, Fuoko; and the first alchemist to create a ‘Mysterious Painting’, Neige.” -Koei Temco Official
The game has been released in Japan last December and will arrive in North America on March 27 and in Europe on March 30 to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
But recently Koei Tecmo through Dual Shockers informed that the game that arrive in the West and Europe will not use English VO, it will use Japanese audio as requested by JPRG fans and subtitles will be presented in English, so no need to worry!
